Academics
When it comes to academics and my schoolwork, my best qualities shine through my bright and unbarred personality. I have impeccable time management skills and like to stay very organized, which allows me to stay on top of assignments and complete them in a punctual order. My dance training has taught me how to work against the clock to meet deadlines, and work cooperatively with others to complete group projects and exchange ideas. I take on the leadership role as a peer tutor for underclassmen in my school struggling in mathematics. I have been on high honor roll every semester of my high school career and I credit this success to my greatest personal achievements. I have taken honor-level classes, as well as college-level courses to intensify my learning ability and prepare me for my future. I enjoy challenging myself to discover new skills by taking simulating courses, such as Algebra 2 Honors, Trigonometry Honors, Geometry Honors, and Pre-Calc Honors. In addition, I am taking three dual enrollment college credit courses through Iona University: Calculus 1 & 2, Communication Skills, and Italian 4, as well as one dual enrollment college credit course through St. Thomas Aquinas College: Anatomy and Physiology. I also have experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Graphic Design, which is one of my favorite hobbies to express my creativity and set new goals for myself. I take great pride in my determination to fulfill my academic achievements.
